Notes

'Cookie' peony (Paeonia lactiflora 'Cookie') is a perennial for borders, cut flowers, and perennial beds. It is hardy to USDA zone 3, or down to -40°F (-40°C). This plant likes full or part sun, average moisture, and loamy soil. The double, true pink blooms open in mid spring and look like roses when fully open. Strong stems of medium height make it a good cut flower. Arthur L. Murawska bred it.

Pairs well with Rainbow's End hosta, Japanese spirea, and Switchgrass.
