Notes

'Copy Cat' peony (Paeonia 'Copy Cat') is a perennial for borders, cut flowers, cottage gardens, and perennial beds. It is hardy to USDA zone 3, or down to -40°F (-40°C). This plant likes full or part sun, average moisture, and loamy soil. It bears single, blood red, fragrant flowers on upright plants. Mrs. Mary E.G. Freeborn bred it. Deer and rabbits usually look elsewhere for a meal.

Pairs well with Anise hyssop, Fringed bleeding heart, Standing Ovation little bluestem, and Queen of Night tulip.
