Notes

'Lavender Hill' tree peony (Paeonia suffruticosa 'Lavender Hill') is a shrub for borders, cut flowers, and perennial beds. It is hardy to USDA zone 4, or down to -30°F (-34°C). This plant likes full or part sun, average moisture, and loamy soil. It blooms in early to mid spring with fragrant, double lavender flowers that have dark purple flares. The flowers grow on sturdy stems with good strength. William J. Seidl bred it in 1996.

Pairs well with Wild ginger, Toad lily, and Queen of Night tulip.
