Notes

Cotoneaster (Cotoneaster divaricatus) is a shrub for borders, hedges, and privacy screens. It is hardy to USDA zone 4, or down to -30°F (-34°C). This plant likes full or part sun and average to moist, loamy soil. White flowers with a pink tinge open in spring and again in summer, and birds visit the plant. It is drought tolerant and grows fast into a dense shrub. It sits low on the menu for deer and rabbits.

Pairs well with Hicksii yew, Christmas fern, and Grape hyacinth.
