Notes

'Cottage Cheese' peony (Paeonia 'Cottage Cheese') is a perennial for borders, cut flowers, cottage gardens, and perennial beds. It is hardy to USDA zone 4, or down to -30°F (-34°C). This plant likes full or part sun and average to moist, loamy soil. The tan yellow flowers have pink edges and open from early to late spring, and butterflies visit them. Derek Irvine bred it in 2001. Deer and rabbits tend to browse other plants first.

Pairs well with Sum and Substance hosta, Blue star, and Lily.
