Notes

'Cotton Candy' garden phlox (Phlox paniculata 'Cotton Candy') is a perennial for borders, pollinator gardens, and cottage gardens. It is hardy to USDA zone 3, or down to -40°F (-40°C). This plant likes full or part sun and average to moist soil of most types. It forms a clumping mound 12 to 24 inches tall and wide. Fragrant blooms open in summer and attract butterflies, hummingbirds, and bees. Deer tend to browse other plants first.

Pairs well with Coneflower, Black-eyed Susan, Bee balm, and Standing Ovation little bluestem.
