Notes

'Cramer's Burgundy' celosia (Celosia argentea 'Cramer's Burgundy') is an annual for borders, cut flowers, and accents. It cannot take cold, and a freeze will end its season. This plant likes full sun and dry to average, sandy or loamy soil. Deer rarely make it their first choice. It grows fast and stays short, with wine-colored, crested blooms. Butterflies and bees visit the flowers, and it tolerates drought.

Pairs well with California Giants zinnia, Blood flower, and Moonflower.
