Notes

'Cream Puff' peony (Paeonia lactiflora 'Cream Puff') is a perennial for borders, cut flowers, and perennial beds. It is hardy to USDA zone 3, or down to -40°F (-40°C). This plant likes full or part sun, average moisture, and loamy soil. Walter Marx bred it. The bowl-shaped blooms open light pink with a light yellow center and age to white in early summer. Strong stems hold the heavy bloom, and the dark green, crinkled foliage looks good all season.

Pairs well with Arizona Sun blanket flower, Picture tulip, and Kentucky bluegrass.
