Notes
Creeping liriope (Liriope spicata) is a perennial for ground cover, shade gardens, borders, and rock gardens. It is hardy to USDA zone 4, or down to -30°F (-34°C). This plant likes full sun to full shade and average to moist, sandy, loamy, or clay soil. Deer and rabbits tend to browse other plants first. It forms an evergreen clump with lavender to white flowers in summer and autumn. It also tolerates drought and salt.
Pairs well with Lenten rose, Abiqua Drinking Gourd hosta, and Christmas fern.
