'Gin-ryu' creeping liriope (Liriope spicata 'Gin-ryu') is a perennial for ground cover, borders, shade gardens, and winter interest. It is hardy to USDA zone 4, or down to -30°F (-34°C). This plant likes full sun to full shade, average moisture, and sandy, loamy, or clay soil. Deer and rabbits usually look elsewhere for a meal.
