Notes

'Pink Chintz' mother of thyme (Thymus serpyllum 'Pink Chintz') is a groundcover for rock gardens, containers, and pollinator gardens. It is hardy to USDA zone 5, or down to -20°F (-29°C). This plant likes full sun and dry to average, sandy, loamy, or chalky soil. Salmon pink flowers open from early to late summer and draw butterflies and bees. The creeping, evergreen stems are fragrant and grow at a rapid rate. Deer and rabbits usually look elsewhere for a meal.

Pairs well with Munstead lavender, Blue grama, and Clary sage.
