Notes
Crimson passion flower (Passiflora vitifolia) is a vine for a food garden. It grows outdoors year-round in USDA zone 9 and warmer, down to about 20°F (-7°C). In colder areas, grow it as a houseplant or bring it indoors for winter. This plant likes full or part sun. Its bright red, fragrant flowers bloom on new wood from early summer into autumn. Trim it back in spring to keep its size and shape.
Pairs well with Nightshade, Rambling rose, and Papyrus.
