Notes

'Crystal Dawn' peony (Paeonia lactiflora 'Crystal Dawn') is a perennial for borders, cut flowers, and perennial beds. It is hardy to USDA zone 3, or down to -40°F (-40°C). This plant likes full or part sun, average moisture, and loamy soil. Roy G. Klehm bred it. The soft pink buds open to crystal cream double blooms with red tipped stigmas showing through. Strong stems hold the wide flowers tight to the top of the foliage.

Pairs well with Maltese cross, Charles Joly lilac, Garlic chives, and Meadowsweet.
