Notes
'Crystal Peak White' obedient plant (Physostegia virginiana 'Crystal Peak White') is a perennial for borders, cut flowers, pollinator gardens, and rain gardens. It is hardy to USDA zone 3, or down to -40°F (-40°C). This plant likes full or part sun and average to wet, sandy, loamy, or clay soil. It is not a favorite of deer, though hungry deer will eat almost anything. It forms a clumping mound that grows fast and spreads 18 to 24 inches. Butterflies, hummingbirds, bees, and birds visit the blooms.
Pairs well with Spotted joe-pye weed, Goldsturm black-eyed Susan, Switchgrass, and Hummingbird sweet pepperbush.
