Notes

'Crystola' peony (Paeonia lactiflora 'Crystola') is a perennial for borders, cut flowers, and perennial beds. It is hardy to USDA zone 3, or down to -40°F (-40°C). This plant likes full or part sun, average moisture, and loamy soil. The tall stems carry large, double white flowers with a greenish reflex. The blooms are flat and fragrant. Darwin M. Andrews bred it.

Pairs well with Autumn Frost hosta, Phantom panicle hydrangea, Blue sage, and Western sword fern.
