Notes
'Daisy Sherk' peony (Paeonia lactiflora 'Daisy Sherk') is a perennial for borders, cut flowers, and perennial beds. It is hardy to USDA zone 3, or down to -40°F (-40°C). This plant likes full or part sun, average moisture, and loamy soil. Its large, bowl shaped double flowers are flesh pink with an open center of light pink. The outer petals are flesh white, so the color combination is unusual. Ernest Flint Kelsey bred it.
Pairs well with Joe Pye weed, Phantom panicle hydrangea, Royal fern, and Lupine.
