Garden uses

Notes

'Dan Feng Ying Hui' tree peony (Paeonia suffruticosa 'Dan Feng Ying Hui') is a shrub for borders, cut flowers, and perennial beds. It is hardy to USDA zone 4, or down to -30°F (-34°C). This plant likes full or part sun, average moisture, and loamy soil. Early to mid spring brings fragrant single flowers that open lavender pink and fade to light pink at the petal edges. The outward facing blooms reach about 6 inches across on thin, elegant stems that wind rarely damages.

Pairs well with Dancing Queen hosta, Green Spice coral bells, and Queen of Night tulip.
