Notes
'Danfen Xiangyi' tree peony (Paeonia suffruticosa 'Danfen Xiangyi') is a shrub for borders, cut flowers, and perennial beds. It is hardy to USDA zone 4, or down to -30°F (-34°C). This plant likes full or part sun, average moisture, and loamy soil. The fragrant white single flowers open in early to mid spring and face outward. Each stem usually carries one bloom, and the upright plants grow tall with narrow green foliage.
Pairs well with Dancing Queen hosta, Obsidian coral bells, and Cinnamon fern.
