Notes

'Danny Boy' peony (Paeonia 'Danny Boy') is a perennial for borders, cut flowers, and specimen planting. It is hardy to USDA zone 3, or down to -40°F (-40°C). This plant likes full or part sun, average moisture, and loamy soil. The large single flowers are fragrant and attract bees and butterflies. It is not a favorite of deer or rabbits, though hungry ones will eat almost anything. Upright stems need no support.

Pairs well with Patriot hosta, Standing Ovation little bluestem, Carnaval De Nice tulip, and Polish Spirit clematis.
