Darjeeling Tea TS379 tea plant

Notes

'Darjeeling Tea TS379' tea plant (Camellia sinensis 'Darjeeling Tea TS379') is a shrub for containers, hedging, and tea leaves. It is hardy to USDA zone 7, or down to 0°F (-18°C). This plant likes full or part sun and dry soil. It has small leaves and grows slowly, so it suits gardeners who want ornamental looks more than big harvests. White to cream flowers open in early to mid autumn. You can prune it to any size or use it in place of boxwood.

Pairs well with Common jasmine, Shenandoah switchgrass, and Elfin mother of thyme.
