Notes

'Darrow' blueberry (Vaccinium corymbosum 'Darrow') is a shrub for hedges, privacy screens, and food gardens. It is hardy to USDA zone 4, or down to -30°F (-34°C). This plant likes full or part sun and dry to wet, sandy, loamy, or clay soil. It grows 48 to 72 inches tall and wide with an erect habit. White flowers with pink overtones open in early to late spring and attract bees, butterflies, and birds. The leaves turn a new color in fall.

Pairs well with Black chokeberry, Big bluestem, Wild bergamot, and Ostrich fern.
