Notes

'Daybreak' dogwood (Cornus Florida 'Daybreak') is a tree for specimen planting, accent, shade gardens, and borders. It is hardy to USDA zone 5, or down to -20°F (-29°C). This plant likes full or part sun and dry to moist, sandy, loamy, or clay soil. White flowers open from early to late spring, and butterflies, bees, and birds visit the tree. Deer tend to browse other plants first. It grows at a moderate pace.

Pairs well with Oakleaf hydrangea, Christmas fern, Wide Brim hosta, and Sedge.
