Notes

'Dearest' peony (Paeonia 'Dearest') is a perennial for borders, cut flowers, cottage gardens, and specimen planting. It is hardy to USDA zone 3, or down to -40°F (-40°C). This plant likes full or part sun, average moisture, and loamy soil. The single flowers are cream with light pink veining and light pink edges, and bees and butterflies visit them. It is not a favorite of deer or rabbits, though hungry ones will eat almost anything. Its strong stems stand 30 to 34 inches tall.

Pairs well with Krossa Regal hosta, Standing Ovation little bluestem, Annabelle hydrangea, and Black Hero tulip.
