Notes
'Debonaire Pink' peony (Paeonia 'Debonaire Pink') is a perennial for borders, cut flowers, cottage gardens, and specimen planting. It is hardy to USDA zone 3, or down to -40°F (-40°C). This plant likes full or part sun, average moisture, and loamy soil. It bears fragrant pink single blooms on strong stems up to 39 inches tall, and butterflies and bees visit the flowers. It sits low on the menu for deer and rabbits. Samuel E. Wissing bred it.
Pairs well with Dense blazing star, Blue Mouse Ears hosta, and Christmas fern.
