Notes

'Dejanire' tree peony (Paeonia suffruticosa 'Dejanire') is a shrub for borders, perennial beds, and cut flowers. It is hardy to USDA zone 4, or down to -30°F (-34°C). This plant likes full or part sun, average moisture, and loamy soil. The blooms are white with lilac-pink shading, so they look soft in a mixed planting. Cut a few stems to bring the flowers indoors. Adrien Sénéclauze bred it.

Pairs well with Minuteman hosta, Jacob’s ladder, and Sedge.
