Garden uses

Notes

'Delâchei' tree peony (Paeonia suffruticosa 'Delâchei') is a shrub for borders, cut flowers, and perennial beds. It is hardy to USDA zone 4, or down to -30°F (-34°C). This plant likes full or part sun, average moisture, and loamy soil. Place it where its woody stems can stay in the bed year after year, and cut blooms for the vase when they open.

Pairs well with Golden Tiara hosta, Prairie dropseed, and Greig's tulip.
