Notes
'Deline' tree peony (Paeonia suffruticosa 'Deline') is a shrub for borders, perennial beds, and cut flowers. It is hardy to USDA zone 4, or down to -30°F (-34°C). This plant likes full or part sun, average moisture, and loamy soil. The semi-double flowers are clear blue-mauve with a bold golden center. They are fragrant, so cut a few for a vase. Michael Haworth-Booth bred it.
Pairs well with Minuteman hosta, Jacob’s ladder, and Sedge.
