Notes

'Denniston's Superb' plum (Prunus domestica 'Denniston's Superb') is a tree for food gardens and pollinator gardens. It is hardy to USDA zone 4, or down to -30°F (-34°C). This plant likes full sun and average to moist soil. It blooms in early to late spring and draws bees and butterflies. The small, round, green plums are grown for fresh eating and cooking, and you can blanch them to remove the slightly tough skin. Isaac Denniston bred it.

Pairs well with Serviceberry, Gladiator ornamental onion, and Hummelo betony.
