Notes
'Densa' eastern white pine (Pinus strobus 'Densa') is a shrub for borders, specimen planting, and privacy screens. It is hardy to USDA zone 4, or down to -30°F (-34°C). This plant likes full or part sun and dry to moist, sandy or loamy soil. It sits low on the menu for deer and rabbits. It grows in a conical shape at a rapid rate, and birds visit this evergreen.
Pairs well with Minima Aurea lawson's cypress, Cardinal red twig dogwood, and First Knight fountain grass.
