Notes

'Nana' eastern white pine (Pinus strobus 'Nana') is a shrub for borders, specimen planting, and winter interest. It is hardy to USDA zone 3, or down to -40°F (-40°C). This plant likes full or part sun and dry to moist, sandy or loamy soil. It stays green all year and grows in a conical shape. Deer and rabbits tend to browse other plants first. Give it room to reach its full spread.

Pairs well with Christmas fern, Prairie dropseed, and Panicle hydrangea.
