Notes

'Dieppe' peony (Paeonia lactiflora 'Dieppe') is a perennial for borders, perennial beds, and cut flowers. It is hardy to USDA zone 3, or down to -40°F (-40°C). This plant likes full or part sun, average moisture, and loamy soil. The large, rose-shaped blooms open pale lavender pink in late spring, with crimson tones at the base of the central petals. Strong green stems hold the flowers up over dark green leaves. Keagey bred it, and it has no fragrance.

Pairs well with Sedge, Ostrich fern, and Picture tulip.
