Notes
'Dignity' peony (Paeonia lactiflora 'Dignity') is a perennial for borders, cut flowers, and perennial beds. It is hardy to USDA zone 3, or down to -40°F (-40°C). This plant likes full or part sun, average moisture, and loamy soil. The dark red petals surround a large center of bright red, yellow-edged parts. Arthur L. Murawska bred it. The blooms make a rich show in the garden and in a vase.
Pairs well with Lanceleaf coreopsis, Obedient plant, and Sedge.
