Notes

'Dixieland' eulalia (Miscanthus sinensis 'Dixieland') is a grass for borders, specimens, accents, and naturalized plantings. It is hardy to USDA zone 6, or down to -10°F (-23°C). This plant likes full or part sun, average moisture, and sandy, loamy, or clay soil. Its arching clumps reach 36 to 48 inches tall and carry silvery white plumes with a reddish tinge. Deer and rabbits tend to pass it by. Birds visit the plant, and it tolerates drought and salt.

Pairs well with Anise hyssop, Joe-pyeweed, and Japanese forest grass.
