Notes

'Doctor Tinsley' camellia (Camellia japonica 'Doctor Tinsley') is a shrub for borders, woodland gardens, and pollinator gardens. It is hardy to USDA zone 7, or down to 0°F (-18°C). This plant likes part sun and average to wet soil. It grows slowly into a columnar, evergreen shape. Bees and birds visit it, and it tolerates salt. Deer usually look elsewhere for a meal.

Pairs well with White bigleaf hydrangea, Cobra lily, and Blue star creeper.
