Notes

'Door County Sunset' peony (Paeonia 'Door County Sunset') is a shrub for borders, cut flowers, cottage gardens, and specimen plantings. It is hardy to USDA zone 4, or down to -30°F (-34°C). This plant likes full or part sun and average to moist, loamy soil. The fragrant cream flowers have rose-pink shading and darker flares, and a plant can bear up to 60 blossoms. It sits low on the menu for deer and rabbits. William J. Seidl bred it.

Pairs well with Catmint, Weigela, and Black Parrot tulip.
