Notes

'Dorothy Perkins' rose (Rosa 'Dorothy Perkins') is a shrub for cottage gardens, privacy screens, and pollinator gardens. It is hardy to USDA zone 4, or down to -30°F (-34°C). Give it full or part sun and average to moist soil of most types. Fragrant salmon-pink blooms age to darker pink and draw butterflies and bees. Small, glossy, dark green leaves set off the flowers, and the plant tolerates drought. Jackson & Perkins bred it in 1904.

Pairs well with Clematis, Lavender, and Integrifolia group.
