Notes

Integrifolia group (Clematis durandii) is a vine for borders and low maintenance gardens. It is hardy to USDA zone 5, or down to -20°F (-29°C). This plant likes full or part sun and average to moist soil of most types. Bluish purple flowers with creamy stamens open from early to late summer and again in early to late autumn. Butterflies, hummingbirds, and bees visit the blooms. Deer and rabbits usually look elsewhere for a meal.

Pairs well with Monkshood, Festiva Maxima peony, Casa Blanca lily, and Juneberry.
