Notes

'Dr. Brouwer' lily-of-the-nile (Agapanthus 'Dr. Brouwer') is a perennial for borders, containers, and low maintenance gardens. It is hardy to USDA zone 8, or down to 10°F (-12°C). This plant likes full or part sun and average to moist, sandy, loamy, or chalky soil. Deer and rabbits rarely make it their first choice. It blooms from early to late summer and draws butterflies, hummingbirds, bees, and birds. C. Duivenvoorde bred it in 1987.

Pairs well with Tawny King red-hot poker, Coneflower, and Russian sage.
