Notes

'Black Buddha' lily-of-the-nile (Agapanthus 'Black Buddha') is a perennial. It is hardy to USDA zone 7, or down to 0°F (-18°C). This plant likes full sun and average to moist soil. Dark cobalt blue flowers open from black buds in early to late summer, and hummingbirds and bees visit them. It sits low on the menu for deer. Black seed pods follow the blooms.

Pairs well with Society garlic, Chocolate cosmos, and Frogfruit.
