Notes

'Galaxy White' lily-of-the-nile (Agapanthus 'Galaxy White') is a perennial for borders, containers, cut flower displays, and cottage gardens. It is hardy to USDA zone 6, or down to -10°F (-23°C). This plant likes full or part sun and average to moist, sandy or loamy soil. Large, rounded clusters of white, trumpet-shaped flowers sit on strong stems and bloom from summer into fall. Hummingbirds and bees visit the blooms, and you can mulch it each winter with fallen leaves. Deer tend to pass it by.

Pairs well with Japanese forest grass, Bigleaf hydrangea, and Casa Blanca lily.
