Notes

'Dragon Tails' hosta (Hosta 'Dragon Tails') is a perennial for shade gardens, borders, and rock gardens. It is hardy to USDA zone 3, or down to -40°F (-40°C). This plant likes part sun to full shade and dry to average soil. It stays 6 to 9 inches tall and spreads 21 to 24 inches wide. Fragrant lavender-purple flowers open from early to late summer and attract bees, butterflies, and hummingbirds. Deer and rabbits tend to browse other plants first.

Pairs well with Eastern columbine, Singing In The Rain peony, and Autumn crocus.
