'Dragon's Breath' cockscomb (Celosia argentea 'Dragon's Breath') is an annual for borders, cut flowers, and pollinator gardens. It is tender to cold, and the first hard frost will kill it. Give it full sun and dry to average, sandy or loamy soil. Butterflies and bees visit the blooms. Deer tend to pass it by. It grows fast to 12 to 24 inches tall, and it tolerates drought.
