Notes

'Dream Mist' peony (Paeonia lactiflora 'Dream Mist') is a perennial for borders, cut flowers, and perennial beds. It is hardy to USDA zone 3, or down to -40°F (-40°C). This plant likes full or part sun, average moisture, and loamy soil. Gilbert H. Wild & Son bred it in 1967. The large pale pink flowers have a Japanese form and a light fragrance. Stiff stems hold them up well, and the blooms fade to a pale pink.

Pairs well with Garlic chives, Pussytoes, Queen of Night tulip, and Love-in-a-mist.
