Notes

'Dream Wisteria' tree peony (Paeonia suffruticosa 'Dream Wisteria') is a shrub for borders, cut flowers, and perennial beds. It is hardy to USDA zone 4, or down to -30°F (-34°C). This plant likes full or part sun, average moisture, and loamy soil. Toichi Domoto bred it. Lavender, fragrant, semi-double flowers open in early to mid spring on sturdy stems. Each stem carries one bud, and the plant stays about 35 inches tall.

Pairs well with Star magnolia, Queen of Night tulip, and Blue grama.
