Notes

'Dropmore Pink' weigela (Weigela Florida 'Dropmore Pink') is a shrub for borders, hedges, specimen planting, and pollinator gardens. It is hardy to USDA zone 4, or down to -30°F (-34°C). This plant likes full or part sun and average to moist, sandy, loamy, or clay soil. Rose pink flowers open in spring and again in summer, and they draw hummingbirds, butterflies, and bees. It is not a favorite of deer, though hungry deer will eat almost anything. The arching branches reach 4 to 6 feet tall and wide.

Pairs well with Annabelle hydrangea, Cinnamon fern, Stargazer lily, and Paula Fay peony.
