Notes
'Eaton' peony (Paeonia lactiflora 'Eaton') is a perennial for borders, cut flowers, and perennial beds. It is hardy to USDA zone 3, or down to -40°F (-40°C). This plant likes full or part sun, average moisture, and loamy soil. The broad, flat, semi-double flowers are true white and open about a week later than Miss America. Stiff, upright stems reach about 37 inches tall. William Henry Krekler bred it.
Pairs well with Dalmatian bellflower, Japanese spirea, Pink Impression tulip, and Royal fern.
