Notes
'Edith R. Stone' peony (Paeonia lactiflora 'Edith R. Stone') is a perennial for borders, cut flowers, and perennial beds. It is hardy to USDA zone 3, or down to -40°F (-40°C). This plant likes full or part sun, average moisture, and loamy soil. Large, light pink semi-double blooms show yellow stamens and fade almost white with age. Tall, stiff stems hold the abundant flowers well. Nancy Lamport Strubbe bred it.
Pairs well with Guacamole hosta, Lilac, Sedge, and Star Gazer lily.
