Notes

'Edward VII' peony (Paeonia lactiflora 'Edward VII') is a perennial for borders, cut flowers, and perennial beds. It is hardy to USDA zone 3, or down to -40°F (-40°C). This plant likes full or part sun, average moisture, and loamy soil. Carmine-red to crimson flowers with yellow centers open in early summer and sit high above the foliage. The plant is large and spreading, so give it room. Kelway bred it.

Pairs well with Hairy aster, Sedge, and Spanish bluebell.
