Notes

'Eleanor' peony (Paeonia lactiflora 'Eleanor') is a perennial for borders, cut flowers, and perennial beds. It is hardy to USDA zone 3, or down to -40°F (-40°C). This plant likes full or part sun, average moisture, and loamy soil. The fragrant, deep old rose pink flowers are fully double with unusually large petals. They open in mid to late spring and into early summer. Strong stems hold up the blooms above plenty of dark green foliage.

Pairs well with Purrsian Blue nepeta, Aromatic aster, and Ostrich fern.
