Notes

Electric blue spider lily (Lycoris sprengeri) is a perennial for borders, containers, and xeriscape gardens. It is hardy to USDA zone 5, or down to -20°F (-29°C). This plant likes full or part sun and dry to average, sandy, loamy, or chalky soil. The flowers open light pink with blue tips, and the blue is boldest in cool weather. Deer and rabbits tend to browse other plants first. Mulch it for winter in colder zones.

Pairs well with Silver sage, Karl Foerster feather reed grass, and Blue grama.
